I was looking through my server logs the other day, and noticed a site I got traffic from, under www.freerepublic.com. So, I stopped by the site, and what I found was rather amusing, to say the least. Apparently I'm a threat to the life of the american president, which you will see when you read on! So, I posted some replies. Each time I posted replies, my posts and account on the site was deleted within an hour after the posting, so my nick changes a few times. I am Loonix, Looniqz and dakarbus. I had to change it away from any loonix related the last time, as they deleted my account before I even got to post, when I tried Loonicks.

The first post is a reply to a person who talked about reporting a site to someone...

I just went to this idiot's sub page, and then called our local Secret Service office and reported it. While on the phone the person to whom I was speaking looked at the webpage...he slipped with a 'personal expression of displeasure' and said it would be handled.

PING (see previous message) For a recap, the t-shirt design is now offline at that site (even the sublinked page) and this guy who created the sniper's site graphic has no connection to the t-shirt graphic.

He just created a highly questionable graphic and supported the killing the president (both graphics used the same filename).

Once again, the sniper graphic created by loomix has no relation (outside of the same implied threat) to the t-shirt (which imitated the Kill Bill logo from Quentin Tarantino's movie).

I didn't say that loomix's picture was not online. Loomix came to FR to try to promote his graphic again. "I noticed in my serverlogs that you linked to one of my favorite pictures :)".

He was just trying to drum up some attention for his website. He even linked that graphic (but did not display it) on his Profile page. I advised the admin monitor that his continued posting of the graphic could pose a legal problem for FR. I don't know the law on this matter but it is better for Free Republic to not be associated with this man who is making a threat (genuine or not) on the President's life.

hi again, Loonix speaking. It's kind of impractical to follow this discussion, since I get deleted all the time :) Anyway.. I find it quite interesting that you admit that you "do not make any guarantees for free speech", even if this is what you (think you) believe in yourself.

From the posting guidelines, it says that inappropriate posts are such as advertising hate material, etc. In my last post, I didn't even mention the URL to my site. In fact, it is all of you who have been advertizing it. And I will make sure it all gets heard beyond this forum (for example the interesting part about conservatives not believing in free speech).

It was not me who deleted your account (or even recommended deleting your account) for that post.

As to "Jim Rob" responding to your email or not:

(A) Give it time, no one LIVES on FR 24 hours a day.

(B) There are thousands of users on FR (do you see the volume of traffic this website receives?). If even a few of them are emailing Jim in addition to any emails he receives outside of FR, your response could take time.

(C) it is up to him to respond or not. I pinged him to this thread since you have been repeatedly signing up and still have material on your website that could provoke a Secret Service investigation. Jim needs to be aware of any liablity that you may pose his website.

There are plenty of "DEMOCRATIC" websites that do the same thing. You can lie about this website if you want but be careful of the attention you give FR. We've got a number of posters who proudly proclaim that they are "former" liberals.

We'll always take more converts to the cause. Meanwhile that does not change the violent image have on your website; I'm sure that the authorities would like to have a talk with you.

A bit deceitful of you since you posted your link on this thread yesterday and you posted the link to the graphic on your thread in your profile yesterday.

The admin moderator has been deleting the links to the image on your site regardless of who posts them (just ask barker about his deleted post).

In another post (which I cannot pull up since it was not a reply to one of my posts) you seemed to gloat about how you welcomed an investigation and how you wanted to draw more traffic to your own site.

So again, What is your point? Do you consider that your sniper graphic (which the caption "I dream about this..") is protected speech?

I brought your site into this thread (which discussed the sale of t-shirts that said "K*ll Bush" (without the redaction)) because it conviently matched the word search in Google and the sentiment of the shirt. I figured since some FReepers were already getting in contact with the Secret Service, that I would offer up another person to be investigated. That is your connection to this thread.

Death threats against the president are not protected speech, regardless of the forum (FR or any newspaper).

I do not want to be associated in any way with you or your sniper graphic. You asserted that I "liked" it when it was quite clear from my original citation that the creator of the image was cretin who should be reported to the authorites.

Ok weegee, guess this will be the last post then. My point of posting when I came for the first time was only for my own humor..(which it still is, i can barely stop laughing, to be honest). Then my posts was deleted, and that interested me alot, how you can simply delete something people of other opinions have to say. You simply choose to listen only to the people you already agree with, how is that going to help you for anything? Is your belief so fragile that you cant hear another opinion? Just curious..
